NasonCare operates a Corporate Compliance program as part of its commitment to provide quality care while conducting business with integrity and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
NasonCare has adopted a Code of Conduct to ensure all employees understand what is expected of them in the work environment. We provide training for our employees so they are aware of regulations and expectations. We have also established a Compliance Committee that meets regularly to discuss and resolve any compliance concerns. The Compliance Committee also directs audits for any potential high-risk areas within the operation.
If employees become aware of violations of the Code of Conduct, NasonCare policies or procedures, or applicable law or regulations, they have an obligation to report such violations. NasonCare prohibits any form of retaliation or retribution against anyone for reporting problems in good faith through the regular channels of communications or to the Hotline. Callers to the Hotline are assured anonymity and confidentiality to the limit of the law.

Tom brings a wealth of healthcare management experience to the team, having worked in the industry since 1975. Throughout his career, Tom has worked closely with physicians, hospitals and healthcare companies, focused on developing strategic plans, mergers, practice operations, compliance and management. Tom has been involved in over 20 healthcare company start-ups and is an active board member for several healthcare companies. He is also involved in various community programs and has formed Inter-American Restoration Corporation, a 501(c)(3) organization that provides medical equipment, clinics and housing for needy families in Central and South America. Tom lives in Mount Pleasant with his wife, Marilyn.
